HD Hyundai, Emergency Dispatch of Volunteer Team to Jamboree Event

HD Hyundai urgently dispatched a volunteer team to the site of the World Scout Jamboree, where heat-related illnesses are occurring due to the heatwave.

On the 5th, HD Hyundai announced that it, along with the group's three shipbuilding companies and the HD Hyundai 1% Sharing Foundation, urgently supported about 120 volunteers to ensure the smooth progress of the '2023 Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree.'

The volunteer team, composed of employees from HD Hyundai's shipbuilding affiliates HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, and Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, began emergency support from the morning of the 5th, including maintenance of facilities such as restrooms at the event site, and plans to provide hygiene and safety management support throughout the event period.

Additionally, the volunteer team decided to prepare the necessary supplies for facility maintenance and cleaning on their own to minimize the burden on local governments.
