The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) is targeting the UK market with a 'K-Cocktail Kit' consisting of traditional liquor along with quince syrup and beverages to drink together.


aT announced on the 3rd that it is conducting online promotional activities supporting the placement, sales, and publicity of the K-Cocktail Kit throughout the UK.


Currently, Korean alcoholic beverage culture is gaining great popularity in the UK alongside the Korean Wave content boom. Accordingly, liquor exports to the UK reached $1.86 million last year, a 244% increase compared to $540,000 in 2018, emerging as a promising export item. Additionally, the UK has the largest and fastest-growing online market among the five Western European countries. In particular, Amazon UK, the number one online market in terms of online brand share, offers accessibility to consumers across the UK, making it a suitable platform for initial market expansion.


To promote the K-Cocktail Kit, aT plans to produce cocktail-making and tasting videos with famous influencers in the near future.
