Osan-si Selected for Gyeonggi-do Sports Promotion Public Project

Secures 64 Million Won Budget for National Tournament
Osan City announced on the 25th that the Osan City Badminton Association and the Osan City Jokgu Association, member organizations of the Osan City Sports Council, were selected for the '2023 4th Gyeonggi-do Sports Promotion Public Project' organized by the Gyeonggi-do Sports Council.
The 'Gyeonggi-do Sports Promotion Public Project' is a program that provides subsidies to member organizations of sports councils in 31 cities and counties within the province to enable them to host nationwide sports events.
With this selection, the two organizations secured a total of 64 million KRW, with 32 million KRW each for hosting national sports competitions.
Lee Gwon-jae, Mayor of Osan City, stated, “We will actively support the Osan City Sports Council and its member organizations so that Osan City can leap forward as a hub for community sports.”
