Shinsegae Food is partnering with SSG Landers' Choo Shin-soo to launch ‘Choo Shin Water’ (Choo Shin-soo) bottled water to support the development of youth baseball players.

Shinsegae Food announced on the 6th that it will develop and sell bottled water in collaboration with Choo Shin-soo, who has been engaged in social contribution activities for youth baseball development and underprivileged groups, to expand its support for youth baseball players that began last year.


Choo Shin Water is bottled water developed with the agreement that Shinsegae Food and Choo Shin-soo will donate all sales proceeds to the development of youth baseball. The front label features Choo Shin-soo’s name and a dynamic batting form hitting a home run as design elements, while the back includes the phrase “Water for Better Champion” to convey the story behind the product and encourage consumers to participate in supporting youth baseball players through their purchase. Starting today, it will be sold sequentially at Emart, Emart24, Emart Everyday, Gmarket, SSG.com, No Brand Burger, and others, priced at 480 KRW (500mL, based on Emart).


A Shinsegae Food official stated, “We expect that working with Choo Shin-soo to raise social interest and support for youth baseball will contribute to the development of Korean baseball,” adding, “We will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibility through various social contribution activities.”
