The district actively responded to the increasing demand for care for people with disabilities by establishing a hub institution to comprehensively manage and support various information and services for people with severe disabilities. At the Areumdri Dream Center, individualized services such as education, health care, community activities, cultural arts, and sports leisure activities are provided to people with developmental disabilities. The Vision Dream Center offers education, health, and care services to people with severe brain lesion disabilities to support their independence and alleviate the caregiving burden on their families.

The event proceeded with a progress report, center introduction, presentation of appreciation plaques, greetings, ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a tour.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok of Nowon District said, "We established the Vision Dream Center and Areumdri Dream Center to support adults with severe disabilities who face difficulties due to a significant reduction in care services after graduating from school." He added, "We will continue to spare no effort in providing various support measures for the happiness of both people with disabilities and their caregiving families."
