Gyeongnam Nonghyup Hosts the 1st Gyeongnam Horticultural Cooperative Corporation Practical Council Meeting

Gyeongnam Nonghyup held the ‘Gyeongnam Horticultural Cooperative Corporation Practical Council,’ marking a new beginning for the integrated marketing of Gyeongnam agricultural products.

The meeting, held on the 21st at the Jinju City Nonghyup Cooperative Corporation conference room, brought together practical managers from horticultural cooperative corporations of eight cities and counties in Gyeongnam.

They gathered opinions to strengthen the competitiveness of Gyeongnam agricultural products and activate sales in response to the diversifying distribution environment, as well as to enhance sales cooperation among cooperative corporations.

Additionally, a session was arranged to discuss solutions for agricultural products facing difficulties in market development through sharing each other’s marketing know-how and client information.

Kim Ju-yang, the head of the headquarters, said, “I hope that the Gyeongnam Horticultural Cooperative Corporation, which handles Gyeongnam agricultural products, will develop into a competitive organization through this gathering of practical workers,” and added, “Going forward, Gyeongnam Nonghyup will do its best to ensure higher farm gate prices for farmers in the Gyeongnam production areas and guarantee good quality and prices to consumers nationwide.”
