Parent Training on the 24th... Participation of Medical Experts

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Seo Geo-seok) is organizing a parent training program to promote student health.


Jeonbuk Office of Education announced on the 22nd that it will hold a parent training session on the theme of "Management of Allergic Diseases in Children and Adolescents" on the 24th at the auditorium on the 2nd floor of the provincial education office.


This parent training program was prepared to provide accurate information about allergic diseases that frequently occur during childhood and adolescence and to guide the practice of healthy lifestyle habits for children.

The program consists of a total of three lectures, with medical experts from each field participating. Medical professionals will serve as instructors to provide specialized information about the diseases and health management education, which is expected to greatly assist parents in managing their children's health.


Professor Kim So-ri of the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Jeonbuk National University Hospital will lecture on respiratory allergic diseases such as rhinitis and asthma, and Professor Nam Kyung-hwa of the Department of Dermatology at Jeonbuk National University Hospital will be in charge of managing atopic dermatitis. Professor Park Sook-kyung from the College of Nursing at Jeonbuk National University will serve as an instructor on lifestyle management for children and adolescents with allergic diseases.


Superintendent Seo Geo-seok said, "It is heartbreaking to see our children, who should learn joyfully and grow healthily, struggling with allergic diseases such as rhinitis, asthma, and atopy," adding, "We will actively support students to grow healthily by promoting various health management policies as well as health education in each field."
