Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) is recruiting tenants for 1,117 national rental housing units.
On the 22nd, SH Corporation announced that it will recruit 1,117 tenants and prospective tenants, including 184 tenants for remaining units in national rental housing complexes in Gangil, Segok, and Sinnae 3 districts, and 933 prospective tenants. The tenant recruitment announcement will be posted on the SH Corporation website at 3 p.m. on the 23rd.
This supply targets 184 tenants for remaining units caused by tenant move-outs and contract cancellations in a total of 21 districts including Gangil and Segok districts, and 10 complexes including Godeok Gangil District 13 Complex and Wirye Forest Shine, as well as 993 prospective tenants.
The average deposit and rent by area for this recruitment are as follows: ▲ For exclusive use area of 39㎡ or less, deposit 30 million KRW and rent 240,000 KRW ▲ For exclusive use area of 49㎡ or less, deposit 52 million KRW and rent 330,000 KRW ▲ For exclusive use area of 59㎡ or less, deposit 59 million KRW and rent 370,000 KRW ▲ For exclusive use area of 79㎡, deposit 128 million KRW and rent 520,000 KRW.
Applicants must be members of a household without a home residing in Seoul as of the tenant recruitment announcement date (different residency conditions apply for Sangye Jangam District), with a monthly average income of 70% or less of the urban worker household average income per household, total household assets of 361 million KRW or less, and a vehicle value of 36.83 million KRW or less. For housing units under 50㎡ exclusive use area, applicants with a monthly average income of 50% or less per household are given priority in case of competition, and the first priority condition is residence in the relevant autonomous district or adjacent district. For housing units of 50㎡ or more exclusive use area, the ranking is determined by the number of payments made to the Housing Subscription Savings, with the first priority condition requiring at least 24 payments to the Housing Subscription Savings.
Online applications for priority applicants will be accepted from the 3rd to the 6th of next month. SH Corporation will also accept in-person applications at the main office's 2nd floor auditorium from the 4th to the 6th of next month for applicants who have difficulty using the internet, such as elderly and disabled persons. Secondary applications will be accepted online only on the 19th of next month and will not proceed if the number of priority applicants exceeds 200% of the recruitment units. Document screening candidates will be announced on August 4, and successful applicants will be announced on December 15. Move-in will be possible after January next year.
