KMI plans to provide free health checkups to a total of 30 adolescents in need, including those preparing for independence, out-of-school and out-of-home youth, and youth with migrant backgrounds.

Kim Soon-yi, Honorary Chairman of KMI (Chairman of the Social Contribution Committee), said, "We hope KMI's sharing will help improve the health and welfare of adolescents," adding, "We will continue to support adolescents to grow healthily and become talents needed by our society."

KMI continuously conducts various social contribution projects targeting vulnerable adolescents who are in blind spots of medical welfare. Recently, in recognition of these efforts, KMI received the Presidential Citation at the '2023 Youth Development and Protection Merit Awards Ceremony' hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

Established in 1985 as a health screening institution, KMI currently operates health screening centers in eight locations nationwide: three in Seoul (Gwanghwamun, Yeouido, Gangnam) and five regional centers (Suwon, Daegu, Busan, Gwangju, Jeju). Along with activities for early detection and prevention of diseases and promotion of public health, KMI carries out various social contribution projects.
