Hyundai Rotem announced on the 22nd that it will conduct a "Special Inspection Campaign for Field Operational Equipment" for six weeks until the 28th of next month. The campaign targets military units operating K2 tanks, wheeled armored vehicles, and K10 ammunition resupply vehicles, with approximately 600 vehicles expected to be inspected during the campaign period.

The Army Logistics Command and Hyundai Rotem prepared this campaign to fully equip field combat readiness in accordance with the "Fight Tonight" spirit, aiming to maintain optimal readiness to secure victory even if combat begins immediately.

To enhance the customer experience of defense products, a "Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program" will also be implemented. Through this program, preventive maintenance will be strengthened, and support will be provided for nurturing technical talent in the maintenance sector. Additionally, readiness of spare parts will be reinforced to establish a proactive procurement system.

Specifically, to efficiently inspect defense products, a diagnostic team has been formed by deploying experts from ▲research institutes ▲technical departments ▲quality departments ▲maintenance departments ▲and partner companies. Currently, diagnostic services are being conducted on three vehicle types, including the K2 tank, with plans to expand to other vehicle types in the future.

Management will visit field units during the peak summer and winter seasons to hold meetings with maintenance officers. They plan to listen to the difficulties and improvement directions experienced by maintenance officers during maintenance activities to establish effective field support measures. Furthermore, technical seminars will be held for field maintenance officers to nurture technical talent. They will participate in technical seminars hosted by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration and the Defense Technology Quality Institute, and plan to promote their own technical seminars in the future.
