Orion Launches Fresh Potato Snack 'Pocachip Max'

Orion announced on the 22nd that it will launch two types of 'Poca Chip MAX,' which are thickly sliced fresh potatoes at about 1.6mm and fried to differentiate flavor and texture.

Orion named the product 'Poca Chip MAX' to signify maximizing the rich taste and crispy texture of potatoes. Based on over 30 years of Orion's unique fresh potato chip manufacturing know-how, the product features a crispier texture by applying a 'vacuum frying' method that fries at a low temperature. It is offered in two flavors: the spicy and savory 'Red Spicy' and the aromatic and appealing 'Black Truffle,' delivering an exotic yet harmonious taste.

An Orion representative explained, "By differentiating the thickness of the potato chips and the frying method, we maximized the rich potato flavor and crispy texture. These two unique flavors are perfect to enjoy with cold beer or beverages during the hot summer season."
