Jeonbuk National University (President Yang Obong) has formed an Integrity Council to spread a culture of integrity and has officially begun activities to enhance the university's integrity.
Jeonbuk National University announced on the 22nd that on the 19th, it held an Integrity Council meeting at the university headquarters conference room, composed of President Yang Obong, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Vice President for Research, the Vice President for External Cooperation, and other headquarters officials.

원본보기 아이콘Jeonbuk National University has made various countermeasures, including significantly improving the Comprehensive Integrity Evaluation results by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, strengthening the functions of the Research Ethics Audit Office to prevent and proactively respond to misconduct and irregularities since President Yang Obong's inauguration.
At the meeting, they shared an analysis of the evaluation results over the past three years of the Comprehensive Integrity Evaluation conducted annually by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, and established 13 implementation tasks across 4 customized action plan areas to spread a culture of integrity.
Additionally, Jeonbuk National University conducted a detailed analysis of corruption-prone areas and prepared specific measures to improve them.
Going forward, Jeonbuk National University will hold this council regularly to ensure the swift establishment of a culture of integrity. Related committees will be formed to monitor the progress of enhancing integrity and the implementation of customized action plans, striving for sustainable and effective prevention of corruption.
President Yang Obong stated, "For nurturing outstanding talent, the university must first be honest," adding, "We will thoroughly inspect all aspects of university operations and actively respond to government policies and changes in related laws to lead the way in making our university the most honest university."
