Golfzon "Publication of Sustainability Management Report"

Golfzon published the ‘Sustainability Management Report 2023’ on the 12th.

This report includes key contents such as the 2030 ESG mid- to long-term goals and strategies, the introduction of the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001), stakeholder win-win cooperation activities including support for stores affected by flooding, strengthening governance transparency according to global standards, and contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs).

Last year, Choi Deok-hyung, Chairman of the Golfzon ESG Committee (center), and committee members are discussing ways to strengthen sustainable management.

Golfzon, which has contributed to the domestic screen golf boom and the expansion of the golf industry base, established the ESG Committee in October 2021. It has been pursuing new value through sustainable management considering various stakeholders such as Golfzon shareholders, customers, business owners, and partners. On the 26th, the first ESG Committee meeting of 2023 will be held to report on the publication of the Sustainability Management Report.

Golfzon has been practicing ESG management. It is actively participating in continuous business expansion to revitalize the golf industry, social contribution activities based on the management philosophy of ‘sharing and consideration,’ and environmental protection. Recently, it participated in the environmental protection campaign ‘We Green Festival’ held over two days at Seoul Plaza, exhibiting products made through the waste screen upcycling project.

Choi Deok-hyung, Chair of the ESG Committee, stated, "Golfzon is conducting social contribution campaigns for local communities and marginalized groups. We are doing our best to share values with various stakeholders and pursue sustainable management," adding, "We will continue to fulfill the corporate social responsibility considering customers, society, and the environment to contribute to the development of local communities."
