S-Oil, President An Jong-beom and Two Others Promoted in Marketing Division

S-Oil announced on the 1st that it has carried out executive personnel changes, including promoting An Jong-beom, Senior Vice President of Marketing, to President.

Regarding An's promotion to President, S-Oil explained, "As the company grows in scale and following the Shahin Project, which involves an investment of over 9 trillion won, this move is a strategic step to strengthen marketing capabilities in preparation for market development and business expansion in the petrochemical and low-carbon new energy sectors."

The newly appointed President An graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Business Administration and earned a master's degree in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University in the United States. He joined S-Oil (then Ssangyong Refining) in 1987 and has served as Head of Corporate Planning, Head of Strategic Planning, Head of Overseas Marketing, and since 2018, as Senior Vice President of Marketing.

In addition, Cha Won-gi, Deputy Head of the Legal and Compliance Division, was promoted to Head of the Division, and Lee Chun-bae, Team Leader of the Operations Team, was promoted to Managing Director.
