Gijang-gun Hosts the 14th Cheolma Hanwoo Bulgogi Festival

The 14th Cheolma Hanwoo Bulgogi Festival in Gijang-gun, Busan, will be held from June 2 to June 6 in the Jangjeon-ri area of Cheolma-myeon.

The event, featuring clean agricultural and livestock products from the Cheolma area of Gijang, will open with a traditional Jisinbalgi ritual and a pungmulpae Madangnori performance. The opening ceremony will be followed by a celebratory concert on Inet TV’s adult popular songs program, featuring performances by Song Dae-gwan, Yoo Ji-na, and Park Sang-chul.

From the second day of the festival, various attractions will be available, including the Hanwoo Love Concert starring Kim Da-hyun, a music concert in collaboration with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP), magic circus, children’s Taekwondo performances, a citizen on-site singing contest, and performances by local groups.

At one side of the venue, visitors can purchase and taste Hanwoo beef at prices lower than market rates, and at the direct agricultural products market, they can find clean agricultural products from the Cheolma area of Gijang. Additionally, photo zones featuring flower towers and a large Hanwoo statue are set up throughout the festival site, allowing families and friends visiting the festival to take commemorative photos.
