Gochang-gun Opens 'Sangham-myeon Onjeong Nanum Center'... Revitalizing Rural Hub

On the 4th, Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk, announced the opening of the 'Sangham-myeon Onjeong Sharing Center' as part of the rural hub revitalization project in Sangham-myeon.

The opening ceremony was attended by Shim Deok-seop, the governor of Gochang-gun, Lim Jeong-ho, chairman of the Gochang-gun Council, heads of local organizations, and residents.

The Onjeong Sharing Center is a complex community center featuring functions such as a cafe, laundromat, and multipurpose room.

The county plans to strengthen the base in Sangham-myeon to enhance basic service functions and utilize it as a central hub space.

In particular, more programs are planned to be operated centered on intermediary support organizations and local residents, which is expected to greatly help create a happy and vibrant community.

Governor Shim Deok-seop said, “I hope the Onjeong Sharing Center will actively be used as a lively space that achieves harmony while enjoying various activities, such as linking cultural and welfare programs.”
