Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters supports the 'Visiting Medical Consultation and Radiation Education Project' to promote the health of local residents in surrounding areas who are in medical welfare blind spots.

On the 2nd, Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters and the Radiation Emergency Medical Center of the Southeastern Nuclear Medicine Institute held a medical equipment delivery ceremony at the Radiation Emergency Medical Center of the Southeastern Nuclear Medicine Institute in Gijang-gun, Busan, to carry out the 'Visiting Medical Consultation and Radiation Education Project.'

Since 2020, the 'Visiting Medical Consultation and Radiation Education Project,' now in its fourth year, involves medical staff from the Southeastern Nuclear Medicine Institute visiting local village halls and schools to provide residents with basic health measurements, high-quality medical consultations, and accurate basic knowledge about radiation.

Last year, the project was conducted in 2 villages in Jangan-eup and 10 villages in Ilgwang-myeon.
