Professor A, along with Professor B and others, was prosecuted on charges of manipulating the attendance days, grades, and graduation project evaluation documents of D, who transferred to the Visual Design Department from July 2014 to November 2015, despite D rarely attending classes.

Judge Jeong stated, "It is recognized that Professor A and others acknowledged false attendance and awarded grades to D, thereby obstructing academic processing tasks." However, the charges that Professor A conspired with part-time lecturers and that D conspired in the false attendance and grade awarding were acquitted.
