The Disabled Artists Exhibition "Stories Told by Paintings" features over 40 high-quality works created by disabled artists, including self-portraits, mosaics, upcycling works, and junk art.

Visitors can see various works in one place, such as "Self-Portrait," where children who love themselves as they are express their images using the taping mosaic method; the upcycling work "The Birth of Venus," which reinterprets the famous painting "The Birth of Venus" using recycled materials; and the junk art "Camellia," which captures beautiful camellia flowers using discarded egg cartons.

Organized by the Jinhae Disabled Welfare Center, this exhibition aims to enhance the pride of disabled people through artistic works and to broaden the awareness and understanding of disabled people among non-disabled individuals.

The Disabled Artists Exhibition "Stories Told by Paintings" is free to the local residents and customers who visit the BNK Gyeongnam Bank headquarters on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Kim Jong-hak, team leader of the Social Contribution and Public Relations Department, said, "We are pleased to introduce the outstanding works of local disabled amateur artists to the community in commemoration of Disability Day. We hope this exhibition will serve as an opportunity to foster broader social awareness and understanding of disabled people."

BNK Gyeongnam Bank has produced a video titled "PixStory," which includes introductions of the artists and explanations of the works, to help visitors better understand the exhibitions at the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Gallery. The video is available on BNK Gyeongnam Bank’s official YouTube channel, "BNK Gyeongnam Bank."
