Daemyung Sonovel Haiphong Successfully Hosts Golf Tournament for Members

Sono International announced on the 2nd that Sonobel Haiphong, operated by the company, held the golf tournament "Sono Members Championship" for customers holding company membership rights. This is the first time a golf tournament has been held for members at an overseas business site.

Sonobel Haiphong is a 5-star golf & resort in Vietnam featuring 60 hotel rooms, 78 residences, restaurants, banquet halls, and swimming pools. Sono International signed a contract with Hyundai Construction, which owns "Songjia Golf & Resort," and has been operating it under the new name Sonobel Haiphong since January 2020.

About 90 participants, including Daemyung Sono Group member customers and VIPs, competed in this Sono Members Championship. The winner was awarded a trophy along with two round-trip airline tickets to Vietnam as a prize.

Along with participating in the tournament, customers enjoyed a special lesson from trot singer Heo Song, who became the oldest (60 years old) professional golfer certified by the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) last year.

Sonobel Haiphong plans to hold the Sono Members Championship up to four times within this year. The 4th tournament, scheduled for the end of the year, will be conducted as a champions' showdown featuring winners from the 1st to 3rd tournaments.
