Hanssem announced on the 2nd that it has renovated the Hanssem Design Park Hanam Starfield branch (Hanam branch).
The Hanam branch is the fourth case where the exhibition strategy revealed at Hanssem's 'Creative Day' last August was applied. On the 24th of last month, Hanssem transformed the Hanssem Design Park Goyang Starfield branch into a space where customers can experience over 40 sofas. On the 30th of the same month, the Hanssem Design Park Songpa branch was redesigned as an experience, communication, and lifestyle space. Unlike the existing home furnishing stores that exhibited based on spaces such as bedrooms and living rooms, a concept was applied to display various furniture all at once in six themed spaces. On the 20th of last month, the Cheonan Asan branch expanded its exhibition space for beds and sofas, renewing it so that customers can view various products at a glance.
The Hanam branch was designed as a store that consolidates Hanssem's digital capabilities. The main content is the 'Hanssem Smart Home Package Experience Zone,' a smart home specialized exhibition space in partnership with Samsung Electronics. Since forming a joint development partnership for furniture and home appliances with Samsung Electronics in 2020, Hanssem has continued its collaboration. In the Smart Home Package Experience Zone, visitors can experience the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) devices developed by Hanssem, such as smart switches, with Samsung Bespoke home appliances in kitchen, living room, and dining model houses.
Visitors can also directly try out four smart home scenarios, including 'My Own Theater,' which turns the home into a theater with just a button click, and the 'Fine Dust Safety Package,' which automatically operates air purifiers and hoods. Hanssem plans to launch a home remodeling package featuring smart home functions exhibited at the Hanam branch in June. They intend to strengthen cooperation with Samsung Electronics by introducing the SmartThings IoT platform, developing smart furniture, and conducting projects linking both companies' platforms.
From the store entrance, the Hanam branch captivates attention with boldly colored themed exhibitions and large displays. Additionally, 'space layering' is arranged throughout the store using opaque finishing material layers and curved pathways. The interior, exhibiting various home furnishing products such as kitchens, baths, sofas, and bedrooms, is designed to be partially visible, arousing curiosity among customers passing through the mall.
The Hanam branch Rehouse store has installed a large digital consultation room for the first time in a Hanssem store. The digital consultation room features an extra-large LED screen capable of printing blueprints designed with Hanssem's proprietary 3D design program, 'Home Planner.' Through this, customers can more vividly see how their homes will change after remodeling. Additionally, LED screens are installed on the bath walls and floors, creating a 'Bath Coloring Zone' where customers can directly change finishing materials; this is the second application following the Songpa branch.
Hanssem plans to continuously introduce differentiated exhibition strategies in the future. They will also actively apply digital technologies. The exhibition space at the Mokdong branch, scheduled for renewal in the second half of the year, will actively utilize digital exhibitions and strengthen linkage functions with Hanssem Mall, continuing to build an online and offline 'Omni-Channel' system.
Kim Yoon-hee, head of Hanssem's Home Furnishing Business Division, said, “We will continue to open stores in various regions that showcase Hanssem's unique exhibition concepts and digital capabilities to differentiate customer experiences.”
