CU announced on the 2nd that it will participate in the ‘Seoul Bridge Mat-Ket’ event held at the Hangang Jamsugyo Bridge in Seoul on the 6th.
Seoul Bridge Mat-Ket is one of the programs of the 2023 Seoul Festa, the largest shopping and tourism festival in Seoul. CU will set up booths on Jamsugyo Bridge where visitors can enjoy differentiated products and services in a one-stop manner, consisting of ▲Outing Zone (mobile convenience store) ▲Coffee Zone ▲Snack & Meal Zone ▲Service Experience Zone.
In the Outing Zone, bottled water, cup ice, carbonated drinks, mats, and disposable batteries will be sold. In the Coffee Zone, visitors can enjoy CU’s private brand iced drinks, Delafe, and the instant coffee brand Get Coffee. The Snack & Meal Zone will offer over 40 types of food items including Yonsei Milk Cream Bread, Korea University 1905 Premium Bread, triangular kimbap, sandwiches, snacks, ramen, and hot bars.
The Service Experience Zone offers various differentiated services. These include a tax refund service that immediately refunds VAT for foreigners who purchase over 30,000 KRW, the Discover Seoul Pass which includes free admission to major Seoul tourist attractions, Seoul City Tour bus, and Ttareungi bike vouchers, and the Namane Card production service that allows customers to customize transportation cards instantly with photos taken on their mobile phones.
A BGF Retail official said, “As CU represents K-convenience stores participating in this festival, we planned the booth with a rich lineup to showcase the excellence of domestic convenience store products and services to overseas tourists. We will continue to present various formats and captivate customers’ hearts with high-quality services that meet elevated expectations.”
