In his tweet, President Biden wrote, "The alliance between the United States and South Korea was born not from sharing a border, but from shared beliefs," adding that those beliefs are "democracy, liberty, and above all, freedom."

President Biden also posted a 1 minute and 42 second video on Twitter featuring scenes from the South Korea-U.S. summit and President Yoon’s state visit to the U.S.

He continued, "Today, we celebrate our steel-strong alliance, our shared vision for the future, and the deep friendship that binds South Korea and the United States as one," saying, "The alliance between South Korea and the United States has grown stronger and more capable over the past 70 years." He added that the two countries are united by democratic values and are jointly addressing global challenges.

Meanwhile, President Yoon departed Boston Logan Airport in the morning aboard the presidential aircraft, 'Air Force One,' and is scheduled to arrive in South Korea on the afternoon of the 30th.
