On the 28th, GH announced on the 30th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ulaanbaatar City Housing Corporation to share capabilities and cooperate in creating smart cities aimed at achieving carbon-neutral cities in the urban and housing sectors.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will carry out various non-investment projects such as cooperation for smart city and affordable housing construction in Mongolia, support for improving rental housing policies and operation management systems, expert exchanges, and holding joint forums to achieve the objectives of the agreement.
In particular, GH will conduct additional consultations related to knowledge and experience in public housing construction projects to replace large-scale "ger"?a major cause of air pollution in Mongolia?as well as rental housing management and personnel exchanges, at the request of the Mongolian side.
Kim Se-yong, President of GH, emphasized, "GH plans to discover overseas projects where companies in Gyeonggi Province can jointly enter emerging developing countries such as Mongolia. Through this, we aim to diversify our business areas and contribute to job creation, becoming a better opportunity partner for the residents."
In line with the government's policy to support local public enterprises' overseas expansion, GH established a dedicated overseas business organization in March this year to promote overseas projects.
