Seocho-gu Successfully Holds the ‘2023 Seocho-gu Residents Sports Festival’ at Banpo Sports Complex on the 29th, Involving 18 Districts After 4 Years

Family-friendly Sports Games such as Tug of War, Ring Toss, Ball Filling, Curling, and Vision Tower Building Foster Teamwork

Event Zones Created with Experience Spaces, Amusement Parks, Air Bounce Basketball, and Soccer Matches Provide Various Entertainment



Seocho-gu (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) successfully held the ‘2023 Seocho-gu Residents Sports Festival’ at Banpo Sports Complex on the 29th.


Held for the first time in 4 years since 2019 due to COVID-19, this sports festival was filled with programs enjoyed in unity by many residents, including athletes and cheering squads from 18 districts of Seocho-gu.


Especially this year, excessive competition was avoided, and the event was full of programs that allowed everyone to enjoy together. Tug of War, Hope Ring Toss, Cooperative Ball Filling, Field Curling, and Vision Tower Building all fostered residents’ teamwork and harmony.

Additionally, side events such as OX Quiz and POP UP Rock-Paper-Scissors, as well as auxiliary events like Seoripul Amusement Park and Penalty Shootout Soccer Event Zones, were organized.


Other attractions that captured children’s attention included clown balloon play, face painting, keyring making using coffee grounds, and photo zones.


Jeon Seong-su, Mayor of Seocho-gu, said, “This residents sports festival held after 4 years became a place for unity and communication among our Seocho-gu residents,” and added, “I thank everyone who participated passionately with one heart.”
