This donation ceremony was held to raise social awareness for sharing activities and support for vulnerable groups in the community through bread-sharing volunteer work. S-OIL's donation will be used for purchasing baking ingredients and related packaging materials.

S-OIL executives and employees who attended the ceremony directly participated in the baking activities, making 200 sets of bread together with Red Cross volunteers, and added meaning by delivering the freshly made bread to vulnerable groups and welfare facilities.

Oh Seok-dong, Executive Director of S-OIL, said, “I would like to thank the executives and employees who participated in the Love Bread Sharing volunteer activity and the Red Cross volunteers. Going forward, S-OIL will do its best to grow together with the local community through various social contribution activities.”

Chae Jong-seong, Chairman of the Ulsan Red Cross, also said, “We appreciate the warm hearts of S-OIL executives and employees for the local community. We will further activate baking volunteer activities to expand citizen participation in volunteer work and sharing culture, and increase support for marginalized groups.”

The Ulsan Red Cross’s Bread Sharing Center operates about 300 times annually, and last year, a total of 2,300 people participated, delivering bread filled with warm love to 35,000 marginalized neighbors.

S-OIL is actively engaged in public interest projects such as the Hope Sharing Campaign, rice delivery to vulnerable groups, environmental protection activities, scholarship support, and various activities to expand the cultural and artistic base in the Ulsan region to help neighbors in need.
