Dong-A University Signs Industry-Academic Cooperation Agreement with Busan Small and Medium Convergence Federation Nakdonghoe

Dong-A University (President Lee Hae-woo) has signed a business agreement with the Busan Small and Medium Convergence Federation Nakdonghoe (Chairman Yoon Cheol-hee, hereinafter Nakdonghoe).

Participants of the Dong-A University and Busan Small and Medium Convergence Federation Nakdonghoe business agreement ceremony are taking a commemorative photo.

Through this agreement, the two organizations will jointly work to lead the nation's future industries and promote regional industries, as well as cooperate in field training for nurturing local talent, joint research and development, and more.

Nakdonghoe, an exchange association under the Small and Medium Enterprise Convergence Busan Federation (founded in 1993), consists of 26 member companies from manufacturing, retail and wholesale, construction, professional services, and other sectors, contributing to community and national development and the successful and stable operation of businesses through mutual exchange.

The signing ceremony held at the main conference room of Dong-A University Seunghak Campus was attended by Dong-A University Vice President Kang Dae-sung, Director of External and International Affairs Park Hyun-tae, Director of Student and Employment Support Shin Yong-taek, Director of LINC3.0 Project Team Park Jun-hong, Nakdonghoe Chairman Yoon Cheol-hee (CEO of Jangmi Rubber Industry), Vice Chairman Ahn Myung-hwan (CEO of Yujucare), General Secretary Kim Ji-won (CEO of Eco Sand), and Public Relations Director Hong Jun-hyung (Director of Daebang Industry), among others.

Vice President Kang Dae-sung said, “Dong-A University is striving to cultivate customized talent for companies by implementing the ‘Micro Module’ education program, a convergence curriculum designed mainly for social advancement fields,” adding, “To solve the mismatch between local talent and corporate jobs and to promote regional industry and talent development, Dong-A University and Nakdonghoe will closely collaborate going forward.”

Chairman Yoon Cheol-hee said, “We want to promote many linkage cooperation projects so that the local talent pool, companies, schools, and young talents can create synergy together,” and added, “I hope this agreement between Nakdonghoe and Dong-A University will serve as a turning point to expand exchanges with all companies in the Busan Small and Medium Convergence Federation, sharing the common goal of regional development and talent cultivation.”
