Bruno Mars' First Korea Concert Sells Out 100,000 Seats... Scalping Up to 1 Million Won

All seats for the upcoming Bruno Mars concert in Korea have been sold out.

On the 28th, Hyundai Card announced that all seats for the Bruno Mars concert, scheduled to take place over two days from June 17 to 18 at the Seoul Jamsil Sports Complex Main Stadium, have been sold out.


The general ticket sales, which started at noon that day, sold out in just 25 minutes at 12:25 PM. The number of simultaneous online users reached 1.16 million.


Earlier, on the 27th at 12 PM, pre-sale tickets were available exclusively for Hyundai Card members. All seats were sold out within 45 minutes, by 12:45 PM. The number of simultaneous online users also reached 1.16 million.


Hyundai Card stated, "Interest in this Hyundai Card Super Concert 27 Bruno Mars is analyzed to be extremely high."


Bruno Mars is a global artist known for both popularity and musicality. He has numerous hit songs such as "Just the Way You Are," "Marry You," and "Uptown Funk," and has won 15 Grammy Awards. He is also actively performing as part of ‘Silk Sonic,’ formed with Anderson .Paak.


Meanwhile, immediately after the pre-sale, posts selling scalped tickets for the concert have appeared on online trading platforms such as Bungaejangter and Junggonara. The current highest official ticket price is 250,000 KRW, but scalped tickets are being sold at premiums of around 200,000 KRW per ticket.


Currently, some sellers on trading platforms are offering to transfer tickets for up to 1,000,000 KRW, raising concerns about scalping.
