The Ministry of Science and ICT is hosting the 27th Korea Science Festival from April 27 to 30 at Daejeon Expo Citizen Plaza and Expo Science Park.

This event offers exhibitions of national strategic technology achievements, citizen science camps, science lectures, performances, forums, science entertainment shows, and science culture content experiences. A total of 176 organizations are participating, running 171 diverse programs. The slogan is "Science is ∞" (Meet the infinite possibilities of science!). It means that all citizens can encounter the infinite possibilities where cities and life coexist and connect to the future through science and technology.

The main programs are organized into seven zones corresponding to the slogan letters 'S, C, I, E, N, C, E.' The S Zone is the Strategic Technology Expo. It features national strategic technologies developed by government-funded research institutes, the four major science and technology institutes, and companies, along with a special exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Daedeok Innopolis. Exhibits include the flight model of Doyosat, a small satellite for space weather observation developed by the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute, and a model of the Korean heavy ion accelerator built by the Institute for Basic Science (IBS).

The C Zone (red) is the Citizen Science Camp, where activities such as making 3D puzzles of supercomputers and metaverse economic education for youth independence are held. The I Zone hosts the Science Convergence Concert, featuring science and humanities fusion lectures, tote concerts, science performances, science lab competitions, and science entertainment shows. The E Zone (dark blue) is the Science Learning Village, composed of science experience programs, science books and goods markets, and book talk concerts. The N Zone is a next-generation leisure space where visitors can test drive autonomous vehicles, method robots, and mobile devices. In the C Zone (green), a drone lighting show with 300 drones performing a congratulatory performance takes place, along with SF movie character cosplay, science busking, and night markets. The E Zone (light blue) is the Entertainment Town, linking science and e-sports with streamer e-sports competitions. Additionally, tours of the Daedeok Innopolis are also conducted.
