On that day, county officials distributed flyers to spectators before the game started with the message "Heal your body and mind through marine healing," along with information about the large-scale events and festivals. They also conducted various promotional activities using the electronic scoreboard to broadcast marine healing industry promotional videos, as well as large banners and placards.

In particular, the marine healing industry video broadcast on the scoreboard attracted the attention of the audience and served as an opportunity to widely publicize Wando’s marine healing industry, which is the first of its kind in Korea.

The county plans to continue promotional activities at the Gwangju Kia Champions Field in July to raise awareness of key county projects such as the marine healing industry and to attract tourists during the summer vacation season.

Meanwhile, in Wando-gun, the opening celebration show for the Jangbogo Seafood Festival and the Jeonnam Garden Festival will be held on the 4th of next month. The Jangbogo Seafood Festival will feature various events such as making 223-meter seaweed healing gimbap, traditional bamboo sea fishing, abalone picking, and a traditional rowing competition.

The Jeonnam Garden Festival, held for a month from the 1st to the 31st of next month, will be the first in Korea to take place on a beach site. About 50 gardens with Wando’s unique characteristics will be prepared to provide a healing space for residents and tourists.
