Nongshim Launches 'Lifeel Lactoferrin Fit Diet'

Nongshim announced on the 28th that it has launched a new health functional food product, ‘Lypil Lactoferrin Fit Diet’.

Lypil Lactoferrin Fit Diet contains 300mg of ‘lactoferrin’ per tablet, which may help reduce body fat. Lactoferrin is a rare ingredient extracted at only 0.006% from fresh raw milk. Nongshim used individually recognized lactoferrin, the only one in Korea approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for its body fat reduction functionality.

The lactoferrin used by Nongshim is a premium material produced by ‘Campina,’ a Dutch dairy company with a 150-year history. Human trials confirmed weight loss after 4 weeks of intake, and after 8 weeks, reductions in BMI, hip, and waist circumference were observed. Additionally, visceral fat decreased by 12.4% compared to the control group that did not consume lactoferrin.

Nongshim plans to develop ‘Lypil’ as a comprehensive health functional food brand and expand its range with various products. Nongshim will introduce various new products in the future, including those that may help improve mental health and metabolic syndrome.
