원본보기 아이콘According to the police on the 28th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Narcotics Crime Investigation Unit announced that they plan to transfer Jeon to the prosecution on the same day on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
Earlier, the police received notification from the National Forensic Service (NFS) that Jeon tested positive in a detailed drug analysis. The police arrested Jeon at Incheon International Airport after he arrived from the United States on the 28th of last month, collected hair samples, and requested a detailed analysis from the NFS. A preliminary test conducted on the day of the arrest had returned a negative result.
Jeon, who was released the day after his arrest, told reporters that he admitted to using marijuana and dimethyltryptamine (DMT) during the police investigation. It is also reported that he admitted to the charges during a second police investigation conducted on the 20th.
