Minister Cho stated, "In a situation where the healthcare sector is deeply divided over support and opposition to the Nursing Act, and despite the government's and ruling party's efforts to mediate the Nursing Act, such conflicts have not been adequately resolved."
He added, "The government is concerned that conflicts and backlash among healthcare professions may cause confusion in medical sites, potentially endangering the health and safety of the public," and "We will do our best to prevent such incidents from occurring."
