Seoul Shilla Hotel announced on the 28th that it will sell a set product called 'Bingvine (Bingsu + Wine)' until August 31, allowing customers to enjoy the popular spring and summer menu, Apple Mango Bingsu, together with wine.
The hotel explained that the wine maximizes the flavor of the apple mango. The hotel stated, "Shilla Hotel's Apple Mango Bingsu uses premium high-sugar-content Jeju-grown apple mangoes, making the mango bingsu delicious on its own, but when paired with wine, the natural sweetness of the mango is further enhanced, allowing for a more enjoyable taste."
The sommelier at Seoul Shilla Hotel selected wines that complement the flavor of the apple mango, the main ingredient of the Apple Mango Bingsu, and introduced the Bingvine set, pairing the Apple Mango Bingsu with the selected wines at 'The Library.' The recommended wines to enjoy with the mango bingsu are two types of white wine that bring out the sweet taste and rich aroma of the apple mango. The sparkling lemon-colored 'Salomon Undhof, Riedkogel Riesling' is dry yet elegant with abundant fruit flavors, leaving a clean finish after the sweet mango bingsu. 'Domaine des Bernardins Muscat Beaumes de Venise' is a fortified wine with sweet flavors and a bright aroma.
The Apple Mango Bingsu is also sold individually, and customers can choose one of the two recommended wines to enjoy as a Bingvine combination. The Riedkogel Riesling is also available by the glass. In September, the hotel plans to sell a product called 'Bingski (Bingsu + Whiskey),' pairing 'Honeycomb Affogato Bingsu' topped with Jirisan honeycomb with whiskey.
Meanwhile, Seoul Shilla Hotel will also offer a room package called 'Suite Mariage,' where guests can enjoy Bingvine along with a hotel stay. When using the package, guests can enjoy the Apple Mango Bingsu, which often sells out early, on the day of check-in.
