Yeongam Police Station in Jeonnam (Chief Kim Jong-deuk) recently conducted a 'Children's Traffic Safety Joint Campaign' in front of the main gate of Yeongam Elementary School, with the participation of about 50 people including Yeongam County, Yeongam Elementary School, the Green Mothers' Association, and the Model Drivers' Association.

According to Yeongam Police on the 27th, this campaign promoted compliance with school zone speed limits and children's traffic safety rules to drivers, and distributed promotional materials to students.


In addition, a field meeting was held to inspect traffic facilities within the children's protection zone and to listen to the difficulties of the Green Mothers' Association and parents.


Chief Kim Jong-deuk said, "Preventing children's traffic accidents requires the interest and attention of all county residents," and added, "We hope that everyone will obey the regulations within the children's protection zone to protect children, who are vulnerable road users."
