Daejeon Individual Housing Prices Determined and Announced '4.05% Decrease Compared to Previous Year'

The individual housing prices in the Daejeon area fell by 4.05% compared to the previous year.


The Daejeon City announced that it will determine and publicly announce the individual housing prices for 74,937 houses in the jurisdiction on the 28th.


According to the city, this year's individual housing prices dropped by an average of 4.05% compared to last year. It is analyzed that the contraction in the transaction market caused by high interest rates influenced the decline in housing prices.


By the five districts, the decline rates were highest in Yuseong-gu at 4.91%, followed by Seo-gu at 4.06%, Daedeok-gu at 3.65%, Jung-gu at 3.62%, and Dong-gu at 3.47%.


By price range, there were 57,739 individual houses (77.1%) priced at 300 million KRW or less, 13,690 houses (18.3%) priced over 300 million KRW up to 600 million KRW, and 3,508 houses (4.6%) priced over 600 million KRW.


The number of publicly announced houses by district were ▲Seo-gu 19,088 houses (25.47%) ▲Dong-gu 17,612 houses (23.50%) ▲Jung-gu 16,242 houses (21.67%) ▲Yuseong-gu 11,567 houses (15.44%) ▲Daedeok-gu 10,428 houses (13.92%).


By housing type, detached houses were the most numerous with 33,535 houses, followed by houses in mixed-use residential buildings with 25,804 houses, multi-family houses with 13,092 houses, multiple houses with 1,669 houses, and others with 801 houses.


The publicly announced individual housing prices can be viewed on the city’s website or at the tax departments of the autonomous districts and administrative welfare centers.


Housing owners who have objections to the housing prices can file an objection from the 28th of this month to the 30th of next month via the city website, the tax departments of the district offices where the houses are located, or the administrative welfare centers.


Received objections will be re-investigated by the relevant autonomous district to assess the appropriateness of the determined prices, followed by verification by appraisal experts and deliberation by the district office’s real estate price public announcement committee. Adjusted announcements will be made on June 27 (individual notifications will be sent to those who filed objections).


Meanwhile, prices for apartments, row houses, and multi-unit housing can be viewed and objections filed through the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s website Real Estate Price Public Announcement Informer or at the tax departments and administrative welfare centers of the relevant district offices.
