Two Friends Sharing Marijuana in Gimhae Arrested Together

Two friends who smoked marijuana together and shared it were caught by the police.

According to the Gimhae Jungbu Police Station in Gyeongnam on the 27th, the two people in their 60s, who are friends, are suspected of harvesting wild marijuana in Hwameok-dong, Gimhae City around September 2022 and smoking it around April 2023.

At 11:05 PM on the 26th, at a club on Gimhae-daero, Mr. A was also found in possession of 0.82g of marijuana, and Mr. B had 1.15g.

The police, who responded to a report, questioned the two about possession of marijuana and discovered marijuana wrapped in paper and smoking tools among their belongings, leading to their arrest.

A rapid drug test showed positive results, and hair samples from the two were collected and sent to the National Forensic Service for analysis.

The police plan to process their custody after completing the investigation.
