Enhancing Financial Consumer Rights and Services... Gyeongnam Bank Customer Panel Takes the Lead

BNK Gyeongnam Bank is listening to various opinions from customers to enhance the rights of financial consumers and improve services.

BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 27th that it held the '8th BNK Gyeongnam Bank Customer Panel Launch Ceremony' at its headquarters.

Kim Yang-sook, Executive Director in charge of Financial Consumer Protection, presented appointment letters to 15 members of the 8th BNK Gyeongnam Bank Customer Panel.

The 8th BNK Gyeongnam Bank Customer Panel consists of customers from the Gyeongnam, Ulsan, and Busan regions, as well as seniors aged 60 and above, and youth preparing for independence to support vulnerable youth groups.

Since 2016, BNK Gyeongnam Bank has been operating the customer panel system to listen to diverse customer opinions and improve financial consumer protection and services.

Executive Director Kim said, "We hope that the selected customer panel members will convey various voices to help improve BNK Gyeongnam Bank’s financial products and services and enhance the rights of financial consumers. We will do our best to actively reflect all kinds of opinions to protect financial consumers and increase customer satisfaction."

After the customer panel launch ceremony, the first regular meeting was held on topics such as improvements to mobile banking and ATM services for the elderly to support financially vulnerable groups amid the increase in non-face-to-face financial transactions.

The 8th BNK Gyeongnam Bank Customer Panel will carry out various missions to improve the bank’s financial products, services, and financial consumer rights through both online and offline activities until November.
