On the 27th, the Supreme Court ordered a retrial and reconsideration of some charges for Cho Yoon-sun, former Senior Secretary for Political Affairs at the Blue House, who was prosecuted for obstructing the activities of the Sewol Special Investigation Commission and was acquitted in the appellate court. Former Presidential Chief of Staff Lee Byung-ki was confirmed not guilty.
