Air Seoul announced on the 27th that it will collaborate with popular Japanese udon chef and CEO Jeong Ho-young to launch the airline's first-ever "udon in-flight meal."
Starting May 2, Air Seoul will begin selling three new pre-order in-flight meal menus developed together with Chef Jeong Ho-young.
The new in-flight meals include three options: ▲Plump Shrimp Salad Udon (18,000 KRW), ▲Soy Sauce Egg Butter Udon (18,000 KRW), and ▲Meat Maze Udon (18,000 KRW). These are bibim udon dishes that are rarely found in Korea.
All three menus are made with Chef Jeong Ho-young’s unique recipes. They feature a chewy texture that replicates the authentic Sanuki udon from Takamatsu, the birthplace of Sanuki udon.
The udon in-flight meals can be purchased through pre-order up to 48 hours before the flight departure. They are available on all routes departing from Incheon to Japan, China, and Southeast Asia. Additionally, the Plump Shrimp Salad Udon is available for orders on routes departing from Japan and China.
In addition, Air Seoul will also launch vegan menu options ▲Tofu Kimchi Rice Bowl (13,000 KRW) and ▲Japchae Rice Bowl (10,000 KRW).
All these new menu items will be available for order starting May 2. For more details, please visit the Air Seoul website.
