HiteJinro Launches Six Varieties of Italian Piemonte Wine 'Dosio'

HiteJinro announced on the 27th that it will launch six types of wines from ‘Dosio,’ a high-quality winery representing the Piemonte region of Italy, a mecca for wine enthusiasts.

Dosio is a winery with vineyards located in the Piemonte region of northwestern Italy. Dosio’s vineyards, registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, focus on sustainable agriculture and ecosystem preservation, and are considered one of the top production areas for Barolo wine.

‘Barolo’ is a premium red wine made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the village of Barolo in the Piemonte region. Dosio Winery received high praise from the world-renowned wine critic James Suckling, who described it as “a wine made so perfectly that it is irresistible.”

‘Dosio Barolo DOCG Serradenari’ is Dosio’s flagship wine boasting the most awards. It has won accolades from various wine evaluation institutions such as Wine Enthusiast, Vinos, and Decanter, and is a red wine with a fantastic harmony of cherry and floral aromas.

‘Dosio Barolo DOCG Fossati’ is a red wine called ‘Grand Cru,’ representing the highest grade of Barolo. It uses grapes harvested from vines averaging 40 years old and undergoes 18 months of oak aging. It has complex aromas including cherry and chocolate, and features an excellent balance between the weight felt in the mouth and lively acidity.

The six Dosio wines will be sold through Hyundai Department Store (Mokdong Branch, Cheonho Branch, Pangyo Branch, Sinchon Branch), Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch, and Shinsegae Department Store Main Branch.
