Samyang Foods Launches 'Ornik Organic Icelandic Yogurt'

Samyang Foods announced the launch of its premium dairy brand ‘Ornic’ and introduced its first product, ‘Ornic Organic Icelandic Yogurt.’

Ornic Organic Icelandic Yogurt is a premium yogurt made by concentrating organic raw milk from Samyang Farm threefold to enhance its taste and nutrition. It is produced using a manufacturing method that separates and concentrates whey, resulting in a yogurt with less sourness, a mild and savory flavor, and a thick texture. Each cup (100g) contains 11g of protein, making it a light and convenient meal replacement. It can be enjoyed more heartily when paired with seasonal fruits, granola, or various toppings.

In line with the brand’s focus on health and nature, the packaging is made from FSC-certified paper. FSC certification is an international certification granted to paper and products produced through sustainable methods. Ornic Organic Icelandic Yogurt will be available in two sizes, 100g and 300g, and sales will begin through convenience store channels such as GS25, with plans to expand distribution.

A representative from Samyang Foods stated, “We plan to introduce premium organic dairy products using fresh raw milk from the pristine Samyang Farm under the Ornic brand.” They added, “Ornic Organic Icelandic Yogurt was pre-launched on Wadiz in March and exceeded its funding goal by 2266%, so we expect it to receive a positive response in the market.”
