'Tires for Sneakers?' Hankook Tire and Prospecs, Second Collaboration

Hankook Tire & Technology and LS Networks' sports brand 'PROSPECS' announced on the 27th that they have collaborated to release three limited edition carbon material running shoes called 'Enerjet Ion.'

This product reflects the representative color of Hankook Tire's electric vehicle tire brand 'ION.' The outsole design applies the tire pattern of the high-performance electric vehicle tire 'ION Evo,' which the company explains is specialized for slip resistance. Additionally, the outsole is made from a rubber compound used in the production process of high-performance racing tires. The colors are white, black, and white & black.

This is the second collaboration between the two companies. Last year, they introduced sneakers applying the tread pattern (the tire surface that contacts the road) of Hankook Tire's 'Kinergy 4S2.' Also, last month, they released four types of Enerjet Plus sneakers with racing tire compounds applied to the outsole.
