'Galaxy Express 999' Female Lead Restored Using Generative AI

The heroine Maetel of the animation 'Galaxy Express 999,' which contemplates humans and artificial intelligence (AI), has been revived in a new form. AI synthesis data company C&AI (CEO Wonseop Lee) announced on the 27th that, in mourning the death of Japanese manga master Leiji Matsumoto, they will hold a special exhibition where his representative work 'Galaxy Express 999' can be newly experienced using generative AI technology.

At the special exhibition held at Local Vibe Hapjeong branch in Mapo, Seoul, the AI Maetel character, revealed as a special project from today until the 30th, was realized through C&AI's generative AI platform 'CN Flow.'

Through this project, C&AI created a trailer video inserting the 'Galaxy Express 999' theme song into the AI Maetel image. They also vividly expressed scenes of Maetel from the manga with lifelike graphics.
