HectoFinancial Launches 010PAY 'Jongsose Check' for Comprehensive Income Tax Inquiry and Filing Service

Techfin company Hecto Financial (formerly Settle Bank) will launch a comprehensive income tax refund service for gig workers (special employment workers) called ‘Jongsose Check’ on May 1.

The 010PAY Jongsose Check service is an income tax inquiry and filing support service that allows various gig workers such as part-time workers, substitute drivers, delivery riders, academy instructors, writers, caddies, creators, and various freelancers to easily and conveniently receive their tax refund amounts.

010PAY Jongsose Check sets a new standard for tax refund services with the industry's lowest flat-rate fee. Existing similar services apply a 10-20% fee on the refund amount, increasing the fee burden as the refund amount grows. With 010PAY Jongsose Check, users can use the service for free if the refund amount is less than 20,000 KRW, and if the refund amount is 100,000 KRW or more, they only need to pay 25,000 KRW regardless of the refund amount.

In particular, the 010PAY Jongsose Check service enhances convenience by allowing users to cancel (dismiss) the tax agent appointment within the app, addressing customer complaints and controversies over the ‘tax agent appointment consent’ in existing similar services.

Additionally, the 010PAY Jongsose Check service maximizes the perceived discount rate by applying a 5,000 KRW discount coupon and payback when paying fees with 010PAY Money, points, or credit cards. Hecto Financial is currently selling a 5,000 KRW discount coupon for comprehensive income tax refund fees on the 010PAY app to the first 20,000 users for ‘1 KRW’.

To celebrate the launch of the Jongsose Check service, Hecto Financial is running a promotional event. Among users who check their expected comprehensive income tax refund amount and complete income reporting through Jongsose Check, prizes will be awarded by lottery: ▲10 million KRW travel support fund (1 person) ▲2 million KRW travel support fund (10 people) ▲Starbucks Americano exchange coupon (1,000 people) ▲010PAY points worth 1,000 KRW (5,000 people). Also, just by checking the comprehensive income tax, 200 people will be given Starbucks Americano coffee exchange coupons by lottery.
