Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is expanding cooperation with the Netherlands in the fields of housing and urban space development.


On the 26th, GH announced on the 27th that it held a meeting at its headquarters in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, with officials from the Housing Construction Department of the Dutch Ministry of the Interior to exchange mutual opinions on public housing, urban space planning, and smart cities.


Kim Se-yong, President of GH, stated, "We hope to continue active networking between institutions in the future to enhance the residential value for Gyeonggi residents and to mutually cooperate as opportunity partners in realizing the Netherlands' sustainable housing policies."


The Dutch government published the 'Nationale Woon- en Bouwagenda' (National Housing and Construction Agenda) in March 2022 and is currently promoting the construction of 900,000 energy-efficient and affordable homes by 2030 as a solution to the demographic and economic challenges it faces.
