Samsung C&T Construction Division Reports Q1 Operating Profit of 292 Billion KRW, Up 88.4% YoY

Samsung C&T Corporation's Construction Division announced on the 26th that its consolidated sales for the first quarter of this year reached 4.6 trillion KRW, up 52.4% compared to the same period last year, and operating profit was 292 billion KRW, increasing 88.4% during the same period.

Construction orders in the first quarter amounted to 6.1 trillion KRW, achieving 44% of the annual target (13.8 trillion KRW).

A Samsung C&T representative explained, "Sales and operating profit increased compared to the same period last year as large-scale project construction recently secured has begun in earnest."
