The Senior Safety Housing Project is a Gyeonggi Province-style residential welfare initiative aimed at preventing safety accidents such as falls among the elderly within their homes and improving living environments so that seniors can reside safely.
The application target for this project is 200 households of seniors aged 65 or older who are recipients of the basic pension.
Applicants wishing to apply must do so at their local eup, myeon, or dong administrative welfare center by the 26th of next month.
Gyeonggi Province will prioritize selection among applicants based on criteria such as elderly status, low income, basic livelihood security recipients, and single-person households.
Once the selection of beneficiaries is complete, GH will select construction companies to conduct on-site surveys and carry out home renovation work, aiming to complete the construction between November and December. Major construction work includes installing anti-slip pads, ramps, adjusting indoor lighting brightness, and removing door thresholds.
Kim Se-yong, President of GH, stated, "Through the Senior Safety Housing Project promoted together with Gyeonggi Province, we hope that elderly individuals can live in safer and more comfortable residential environments." He emphasized, "GH will actively cooperate in realizing Gyeonggi Province-style residential welfare as a leading public corporation implementing Gyeonggi Province's policies."
