The event was attended by about 200 people both online and offline, including Governor Kim Young-rok, Hwasun County Mayor Gu Bok-gyu, Jeonnam Provincial Assembly members Lim Ji-rak and Ryu Ki-jun, Hwasun County Council Vice Chairman Kim Seok-bong, Hwasun Education Superintendent Cho Young-rae, Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital Director Jeong Yong-yeon, and Green Cross Factory Manager Lee In-gyu.

Hwasun County Mayor Gu Bok-gyu said, "In line with Jeonnam Province's innovation policy, Hwasun County is also undergoing change and innovation under the slogan 'Making Residents Happy' to renew Hwasun," and requested full support for key issues.

On this day, Hwasun County requested provincial funding support for projects including ▲ the creation of a demonstration cultivation field for Cymbidium orchids (500 million KRW) and ▲ the landscape development project around Gaemisan Observatory (500 million KRW). They also actively requested support for the 'Companion Animal and Plant Theme Park Project,' for which the land purchase within the Dogok Hot Spring Tourist Complex has been completed.

Mayor Gu emphasized, "We plan to apply for the 'Jeonnam-type Balanced Development 300 Project' contest promoted by Jeonnam Province," and added, "Since this is a pledge of Governor Kim Young-rok, we ask for full support."

Governor Kim, along with related department heads, promised financial support and policy review, stating, "Hwasun County ranks first in development capacity index within Jeonnam Province, and we expect Hwasun to lead Jeonnam's development," and added, "With the aspirations and passion of the Hwasun County Mayor and residents, Jeonnam Province will actively support."

On-site Q&A with attendees continued. Strawberry farmer Hwang In-seong said, "Despite the severe rural labor shortage, the accommodations for foreign seasonal workers remain poor," and requested provincial-level support for building accommodations for foreign seasonal workers.

Governor Kim responded, "The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' public project recently ended, and a new project call is scheduled for the end of the year," adding, "Waiting for government calls delays implementation, so Jeonnam Province will consider policy-wise whether it can independently undertake dormitory construction projects."

On this day, residents also requested Governor Kim to address ▲ national and Jeonnam Province-level countermeasures for early mine closures, ▲ prompt expansion and paving of Local Road No. 822, ▲ support for utilizing vacant rural houses, and ▲ improvement of medical expense support methods for families of independence activists.

Governor Kim stated, "Jeonnam Province will actively support the development of Hwasun's greatest strengths: the vaccine special zone, tourism industry, and agricultural life sciences," and added, "Hwasun County is ahead in many aspects, and we believe Hwasun's development is Jeonnam's development."
