Gyeonggi Province is launching an initiative to identify welfare blind spots using Food Bank vehicles running throughout the province.

On the 26th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it held a 'Food Bank Wrapping Vehicle Unveiling Event' at the Gyeonggi Metropolitan Food Bank (located in Jeongnam-myeon, Hwaseong City) together with the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Council and the Gyeonggi Food Bank Federation to promote the discovery of welfare blind spots.

Accordingly, the province will attach promotional materials to all 128 box trucks operating at Food Banks and Markets across the province to promote the 'Emergency Welfare Hotline (010-4419-7722)'.

Starting with this event, all 128 box trucks operating at 84 Food Banks and Markets in the province will display the promotional phrase "If you need help, please contact us (010-4419-7722)".

Park Geun-tae, Director of the Welfare Project Division of the province, stated, "We expect that as Food Bank vehicles travel throughout Gyeonggi Province promoting the Emergency Welfare Hotline, it will raise public awareness among residents."

The province operates an Emergency Welfare Crisis Counseling Hotline (010-4419-7722) and the Gyeonggi Call Center (031-120) to support residents facing sudden crisis situations such as financial difficulties. Anyone who needs help or discovers someone in need can report by phone.
